Exeter Area Scholarship Fund Awards $45,000 to Five Outstanding Local Students

EXETER, NH — The Exeter Area Scholarship Fund (EASF) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 scholarships, awarding a total of $45,000 to five exceptional students from the Exeter Area as they pursue their educational and career goals.

Founded by Nancy Phillips and Rob Burns, EASF was created to support students who demonstrate determination, character, resilience, and a clear vision for their future. The fund recognizes that success can take many forms and proudly supports students pursuing university degrees, community college programs, and skilled trades training.

This year's recipients represent a remarkable range of talents, ambitions, and life experiences.

Olivia Mumper, a graduate of Exeter High School and the Seacoast School of Technology, received a $10,000 scholarship. Olivia will attend Coastal Carolina University, where she plans to study Marketing and Business. Throughout high school, she distinguished herself through leadership roles, athletics, internships, and employment while maintaining a strong commitment to her academic and professional goals. 

Kasey Loch, a student in the Careers in Education program at the Seacoast School of Technology, received a $10,000 scholarship. Inspired by her experiences working with children with diverse learning needs, Kasey plans to attend Salem State University and pursue a career as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Her compassion, dedication, and commitment to helping others stood out throughout the selection process.

Anna Barlow received a $10,000 scholarship and will attend Norwich University, where she plans to pursue a degree in architecture. A standout student in the Building and Construction Trades program at the Seacoast School of Technology, Anna has distinguished herself as a leader both in the classroom and on the athletic field. Her determination, maturity, and ability to persevere through challenges while remaining focused on her goals made her an exceptional candidate for this year's award.

Kylie Tessier received a $5,000 scholarship to support her pursuit of a career in welding. Kylie will attend Manchester Community College's Welding Technology program. Her strong work ethic, commitment to learning a skilled trade, and ability to balance multiple jobs while preparing for her future exemplify the values EASF seeks to recognize.

Lillian Bramhall received a $10,000 scholarship to support her studies in education. A student in the Careers in Education program at the Seacoast School of Technology, Lily plans to become an elementary school teacher. During the interview process, she impressed the scholarship committee with her positivity, focus, and genuine passion for helping young people learn and grow. Her commitment to education and service reflects the kind of leadership that will have a lasting impact on future generations.

This year's applicant pool was exceptionally strong, making the selection process both inspiring and challenging. Applicants were evaluated not only on academic achievement, but also on character, perseverance, community involvement, and future goals.
